This Georgian Water Mixable Oil paint set contains 6 tubes of 20ml water mixable oil paint in a selection of stunning colours. Georgian Water Mixable Oil paints are an excellent alternative to traditional oil paints as they offer artists the possibility to experience oil painting without the use of solvent-based oil mediums such as turpentine or white spirit. The smooth consistency of these water mixable oil paints allows artists to use them directly from the tube with a brush or a palette knife. They echo traditional oil paints and can be used for the impasto technique, or be thinned out using water to create wash effects similar to watercolour paints.
